My fortune cookie. :D

Love this wall!

Oooo Pretty

What really knocks me out is a book that, when you’re all done reading it , you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it.

Holden Caulfeild

The Catcher in the Rye, J.D Salinger

A man who tells secrets or stories must think of who is hearing or reading, for a story has as many versions as it has readers. Everyone takes what he wants or can from it and thus changes it to his measure.

John Steinbeck, The Winter of Our Discontent

Book #10

100 Book Challenge 2011

2011 Reading Challenge

Photo I took of my bookshelf

I am 45 books behind my 100 book reading challenge.  I’ve only read 7 books so far and I’m 45 books from being half way!Ugh!!

I just finished reading The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time By Mark Haddon.  It was on OK book, not one of my favorites but, I liked it.  It took me three days  and it should have taken me at most two but , things came up.

Currently I’m reading my 8th book, Life of Pi By Yann Martel. I started yesterday now I’m almost half way through with it.  My goal is to read each book in 3 days or less depending on how long it is and hopefully i can reach the halfway mark soon.
